Victoria Day Camporee began in 1955 and is a competition camp designed for Scouts and Venturers.  With a trophy awarded to the best all round Troop and Company.  Each and every year has provided exciting programs for everyone including Scouters. Whether there’s rain or sunshine, hail or snow this camp is one that everyone enjoys.

As part of our succession planning, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Greg White as the Incoming Council Commissioner for Battlefields Council. Greg will take on the Council Commissioner role starting on September 1, 2017. More »
Friends in Scouting, I am writing to advise you of changes that are being made to Carmichael house and St. Catharines Scout Shop. As many of you may be aware, Carmichael House and the Scout Shop has been underutilized for a number of years now.  The cost maintaining the building has placed a significant financial burden on Battlefields Council that is no longer sustainable.  Earlier this year, the Council Leadership Team determined that it was in the best interest of the Council and its members to sell the property, and the sale is now complete. Battlefields Council is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Scouter to take lead in an exciting project that is of high importance to our groups. The ideal candidate will be goal oriented and will possess strong communication and marketing skills. They must be able to support and motivate those who they work with. Strong computer skills are also an asset. Travel across the Council is a necessity in this role. More »
